To remove an existing character mapping

Choose Search Configuration from the navigation pane. |

Choose Character Mapping. |
|

From the Specified Mappings list, choose the existing character mapping that you want to delete. (Ctrl-click to select more than one; Shift-click to select a range.) |

In order for changes to character mappings to take effect (that is, influence how search results are returned), you must re-index your data and then click Refresh Cache. |
